This is what the future looks like to Art of Hair Academy.
At Marin City Hall representing the State of California we registered:
Art of Hair Academy Foundation (not for profit, charitable foundation)
pure without affiliations and representations from any profitable organizations.
Secondly, on the profit side of things:
Art of Hair Academy will open a series of affordable green salons by way of AHA salons.
This will be franchised salons whose staff is trained in the academy.
Thirdly, AHA will "test out" and give merit and accreditation to individuals and salons that
goes through our accreditation process.
All merited salons will carry a "AHA salon member" accreditation.
The website for the salons will be called:
AHAsalons.com a registered domain in association with Art of Hair Academy, the training facility also providing web support and photography for accredited members but leaving the
Art of Hair Academy Foundation as a separate entity.
Hair Salons with different names will bare the registered trademark as:
example:
J Hair Studio
AHA salon member
What will this mean in our industry?
That all staff members of the said salon are either developed, trained or continuing with the advanced creative education provided by the Academy.

AHA Spring/Summer Collection 2012
Art of Hair quietly joins the fashion calendar and releases predictions for Spring/Summer Collections for 2013 and predicts the year of the creative haircutter.
Educational Hair Institutions will be challenged by the new generation of cutters that will express their craft by doing asymmetrical looks with layers and undercutting different shapes in areas of the head. The focus will be in the combination of shapes within the haircut.
Before the next wave of the "bob", unpredicable shapes with variations of lines, angles and textures wil be evident. Keep exploring your design lines!
First and foremost, don't forget that suitability, technical and natural cutting instincts is perennial.
