Advanced Haircutting Online,
In the advent of the global crisis that we are faced with today, I have decided to create an online communication with previous and future attendees at the academy. Just as a side note, please beware
of other online haircutting companies and business posing as Art of Hair Academy.
artofhairacademy.com is the domain url listed in the State of California as a non-profit organization since 1997. All the information and instructions are formatted to teach the Vidal Sassoon Training
Program originally for the staff in the UK and USA.
Thank you for your continued support even after the passing of Vidal in 2012.

February 2020
Fashion Week just ended in New York. The circuit travel to Milan, then ends in Paris.
Sometimes in between London gets in there and have their own fashion week.
This is Rose, a model at WM model agency in Paris who's hair I did for a photo shoot for Marie Claire France. I would like to share some of the things I do outside the salon.

Dawn of a New Year. Apologies for long absence of blogging. This is a new image to represent our New Website for 2020 via a simple template from GoDaddy.com

Art of Hair Academy
This photo was shot at Cafe de Flore in Paris. I honestly like photos that look more natural.
Art of Hair Academy was concieved in London long before Vidal Sassoon sold the company in 1983.
John Paul Strand was in his early teens when he moved from London to San Francisco in 1975.
John Paul work for Vidal Sassoon as a stylist on Grant Avenue and taught at the Vidal Sassoon Academy on Ellis Street.
He was then recruited to open and teach at the Vidal Sassoon Academy at 740 North Rush Street in Chicago with Director, David Lister, while also working at the Vidal Sassoon salon on North Michigan Avenue under manager Keith Zenobia.
A 10 year veteran of  Fashion Week in NewYork, Milan and Paris. John Paul Strand lived in Paris and San Francisco. With the awareness of the digital age, John Paul acquired the domain and  registered Art of Hair Academy in 1997 in the State of California,  (Marin civic center).
He has an EIN number.
The current location of the salon and the academy is in the lower Nob Hill District in San Francisco.
There have been a number of attempts to use/buy the domain name:
ART OF HAIR ACADEMY and artofhairacademy.com
including a Japanese make up product, which now also has a hair product company: SHU UEMURA.
Yes, the imitations are flattering but please don't ever think that I with give up my domain.
Thank you.
